Payment: We accept Visa, MC, Discover, AMEX, PayPal, cashier's checks, money orders, and personal checks (if paying by cashier's check, money order, or personal check, your check must clear prior to shipping). If a check is being sent to hold an animal(s), the hold will not begin until the check is received. If you wish an immediate hold on an animal(s) a credit card or PayPal payment must be recieved. Simply stating that the check is in the mail will not hold an animal(s).

Shipping: Customers are responsible for all shipping/freight charges. All orders are sent via air cargo (Delta, United, etc.) or overnight (FedEx, UPS, etc. - non venoumous lizards and snakes only). Live arrival is guaranteed for shipments sent via air cargo. Live arrival guarantee for overnight shipments is at the discretion of Price Animal Company depending on shipping logistics.

Guarantees: All animals for sale are honestly represented, healthy and feeding unless otherwise agreed (for example, you may be comfortable purchasing non-feeding hatchlings). All animals are guaranteed for live arrival and for 4 hours after the shipment arrives at your airport. When receiving air freight shipments, you must open the package immediately at the airline's facility to make sure that no theft or accidental death has occurred during the shipping process. Once you have possesion of the shipment please examine your animals very closely and make certain that you are satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase you must notify Price Animal Company immediately so that steps can be taken to rectify the situation. After the four hour time limit expires, we assume no further liabilities. This policy exists because once an animal leaves our facility, we no longer have control over its care or environment. The four hour guarantee period after the shipment arrives at the airport is given to allow you to take the animal(s) to your house or facility for close inspection and to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. If accidental death occurs during shipment, buyer is required to immediately make arrangements to ship deceased animal back to Price Animal Company with dry ice or cold packs in order to begin the refund process. Price Animal Company will pay for shipping of deceased animal. No body, no refund. Please be aware that all animals are digitally photographed prior to shipping to facilitate the identification of any deceased animals lost during transit. All guarantees for live arrival via air cargo are void if you pick up your shipment from the airline four hours after their plane's arrival. Please make sure that you can pick up your shipment during this window of time. Price Animal Company is not responsible for carrier error (package is lost, misdirectd, or otherwise mishandled). Insurance for a shipment can be obtained from the airlines for a fee. If a problem does occur and it is determined that carrier error is involved, a claim must be filed by the consignee (customer) with the airline. This is standard airline claim procedure. For animals shipped via FedEx or other overnight carriers, the four hour guarantee described above begins once package has been signed for. If any problems exist with the shipment, the above procedures dexcribed above must be followed. If no one is available to sign for the package then all live guarantees are void.

International Orders: Some of the species listed on this website can be exported. The minimum purchase amount for an export order is $2000 USD. In order to begin the exportation process, a 50% deposit is required to hold the animals. There is also a $100.00 CITES applicaton fee (nonrefundable). This process can take up to 2 months or longer. Having patience through this process is a must. Once the export permit is obtained, you have 14 days to pay the balance of your purchase. If after 4 months we are unable to obtain the export permit, we will refund your deposit. Your deposit will be forfeited for the following reasons: 1) you decide you do not wish to purchase the animal(s) after the application process has begun; and 2) you do not pay the purchase balance within 14 days of notification that the permit has been obtained. Deposits are non-transferable to other purchases. Export customers are also repsonsible for the following: (1) $239.00 USFWS export inspection fee; 2) all air freight/shipping charges; and 3) obtaining all necessary import permits/arrangements to sucessfully receive the shipment into their country. Price Animal Company is not responsible for non-delivery of animals due to actions taken by any foreign governmental agencies. It is imperative that you understand all import regulations of your county. Guarantees described above also apply to international orders with the exception that if an animal(s) dies during transit, a digital picture must be taken immediately of said animal(s) and emailed immediately to Price Animal Company to verify identification.

Reticulated Gila Monster and Mexican Beaded Lizard Purchases: Anyone wishing to purchase a Reticulated Gila Monster or Mexican Beaded Lizard is required to: 1) sign a release of liability form; 2) be over 18 years old; and 3) understand all state and local regulations where you live regarding the keeping of these species. All Reticulated Gila Monster and Mexican Beaded Lizards are shipped via Delta Air Cargo and there is a $25 box charge. Reticulated Gila Monsters are bred under license issued by the California Department of Fish and Game.

Deposits: For animals that we have in stock and are ready for sale, a 50% deposit will hold a particular animal for up to 30 days. During this 30 day period full payment must be received and shipping must transpire. If you do not pay in full or do not take possession of the animal(s) then you lose your deposit.
